Brag Skill: Turn Your Project Into a Launch Video

Turn the thing you built into a short, specific launch video.

latent-spaces Brag reads a project, chooses a concrete angle, storyboards a 15–25 second launch video, and hands a focused brief to Hyperframes. The full /brag workflow stays separate from /brag-slim and brag.design.

About This Skill

Brag is latent-spaces’ full `/brag` Skill for turning a real project into a short launch video with an angle, storyboard, Hyperframes composition brief, render, poster, and share copy. The separate `/brag-slim` branch remains distinct.

What We Improved

Keep the depth you came for. Get clearer starting points, practical guidance and an explicit finish line.

01

Concrete /brag and launch-video triggers

Spot the full project-to-launch-video path—`/brag`—before choosing the source’s creative workflow.

02

An explicit full/slim mode boundary

Keep `/brag` and `/brag-slim` as distinct paths so the requested video mode stays explicit.

03

A complete Hyperframes handoff check

Carry angle, source material, storyboard, tone, format, audio, voice, and delivery fields into the Hyperframes handoff.

04

A verified delivery handoff

Keep plan, composition, render, poster, and share-copy checkpoints together at delivery.

Start with the Project

  1. 1Invoke `/brag` with a real project and choose the full workflow when the model dispatch would otherwise select /brag-slim.
  2. 2Inspect the project, choose a specific angle, and storyboard a readable 15–25 second launch video using the project’s actual UI or copy.
  3. 3Write the Hyperframes brief with tone, format, audio, voice setting, source material, and delivery expectations before composing.
  4. 4Run the source gates for plan, composition, render, poster, and share copy before calling the run complete.
Example Command
/brag --tone polished --format vertical

Core Capabilities

Project-specific inspection

Read the current project and choose an angle that shows the actual product instead of generic SaaS claims.

Short launch-video storyboard

Shape a readable 15–25 second hook, reveal, highlights, and outro before composition.

Hyperframes composition handoff

Pass a focused brief with source material, tone, format, audio, voice, and delivery expectations.

Artifact-level delivery gate

Verify plan, composition, rendered video, poster, and share copy paths before handoff.

Use Cases

Product launch clip

Turn a real app or website into a concise, project-specific launch story.

Release announcement

Use a new feature’s actual UI and copy to build a short shareable announcement.

Portfolio project reveal

Choose a visual angle and format for a project that needs a clear first two seconds.

Voice-on or voice-off variants

Keep narration opt-in and carry the chosen audio and format boundary into composition.

SKILL.md

# Brag

This focused edition derives from latent-spaces’ MIT-licensed full `/brag` workflow at revision ebdb9248919c8df5c8c9fc26b0e46565d371c900. The full package keeps its 179-line SKILL.md, references, scripts, lockfiles, cue metadata, music and SFX assets, and the upstream full-directory `slim.md`. The separate sibling `brag-slim` skill is not merged into the package.

The workflow is inspect → plan → storyboard → hand off to Hyperframes → validate → render → choose a poster → write share copy. It stays specific to the project, keeps the video short and readable, and requires actual UI or product copy in the story. The focused instruction diff adds a mode boundary, a complete composition handoff, and a Step 4 delivery check. No rendered output is included here; bundled audio terms still require their own review.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does latent-spaces Brag Skill do?
The full `/brag` workflow reads a project, plans a specific launch angle, scripts and storyboards a short video, hands a brief to Hyperframes, validates and renders it, chooses a poster, and writes share copy.
Is this Brag the same as brag.design’s performance-review product?
No. This page is latent-spaces/brag, a project launch-video Skill. brag.design is a separate product with a different job and source.
What is the difference between /brag and /brag-slim?
The full `/brag` workflow owns inspection through share copy. `/brag-slim` is a separate sibling branch selected by the source dispatch rule for its documented model case; this page does not merge the two instructions.
What does Brag require to render a video?
The source names a project, Hyperframes domain skills and CLI, Node, FFmpeg, and the package’s audio/reference boundary. Provider setup and third-party audio terms must be checked for the actual run.
How do I install Brag from Claude or another coding agent?
In Claude Code, run `/plugin marketplace add latent-spaces/brag` and `/plugin install brag@brag`; for another agent, use `npx skills add https://github.com/latent-spaces/brag --skill brag`. Then give `/brag` a real project and keep the Hyperframes, Node, and FFmpeg prerequisites available.
